Clean and romantic forest lake, relaxing mineral water baths, stylish hotel’s pools or spacious swimming pools where you can bolster your muscles and whole your body. Enjoy the wide range of water pleasures in Marienbad – doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter, there’s still a lot to do.

Indoor swimming

There’s a public town’s swimming pool and of course many of special swimming pools in hotels and resorts. Most of the hotel‘s services are provided not only for its own guests – usually it’s open also for public, so you can change a place for swimming every single day. Check out the complete list of indoor swimming pools at official website of Marienbad.

Another big indoor swimming pools are located in Karlovy Vary and Františkovy Lázně, both places are a part of famous Spa Triangle and we recommend them at least for one day trip.

Outdoor swimming

If you prefer outdoor swimming, don’t miss unique Lido Forest Lake, the natural swimming point with beautiful grassy and sandy beach and many of leisure activities as are outdoor sports or paddle boat rental. The lake is hidden between the grown trees, so it’s a perfect place where to relax also during really hot days.

Not big, but popular especially among the children – it‘s the outdoor swimming pool in Planá. Clean and cold water, little spiral helter-skelter and a freshy draft beer from the Chodovar Brewery. Nice place where to spend hot days with children.

Another option for open air swimming in natural environment is the swimming and leisure area called Michal, situated by Sokolov city just 30 km from Marienbad. It’s a funny tip for one day trip with family or as a refreshing stop for biking lovers. You can find there 500 meters of sandy beach, the longest czech slide or a special water trampoline.

The nearest Aquapark is located in Klášterec nad Ohří, about one hour by car from Marienbad. Enjoy all the attractions as are huge helter-skelters, crazy river or aquazorbing. Recommended for families with children.
